Responsibilities:

Purchasing Agent has the following responsibilities and duties:

· Corresponding with domestic and foreign vendors, including submitting purchase orders and other legal documents while representing Del Sol.

· Managing work in progress and other status reports with vendors as well as accurately updating Del Sol's systems.

· Performing inventory analysis for new products and providing feedback and suggestions to improve company profitability.

· Data entry of inbound freight invoices and maintaining the related database.

· Reporting and logging stock out levels.

· Vendor negotiation, bidding, and quoting, particularly for logistics services and supplies like corrugated paper.

· Managing the ordering and assembly of nail polish components.

· Overseeing testing for hazmat packaging and materials for nail polish distribution and logistics.

· Handling credit forms and returns with vendors as necessary.

· Assisting with Del Sol's duty drawback of Del Sol's overpayment of duties and tariff

Requirements:

Purchasing Agent should have the following skills, education, and experience:

· Bachelor's Degree, a Supply Chain Management degree is a plus.

· Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. Experience with Microsoft Access and other database applications is a plus.

· Excellent reading comprehension, writing, and telephone communication skills.

· Planning and executing tasks, especially multiple ongoing issues over long-term timeframes.

· Time management and prioritization.

· Working well with others in a team environment, where responsibilities lie in the team's collective performance.

· Attention to detail.

· Experience with inventory, GMROI, accounts payable, and logistics is a plus.

Compensation and Perks:

· $50,000-$65,000 annual salary, DOE
