Overview

Quorum Software is seeking an energetic, hard-working, strategic-minded Public Relations and Social Media Specialist to join the global marketing team. This role is critical to driving global awareness and building reputation of the Quorum brand by supporting and implementing earned media strategies, executive thought leadership campaigns and Social Media management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and executing on new strategies and opportunities that align with segment and corporate priorities, as well as tracking the overall success and effectiveness of the programs. Additionally, this candidate will play a key role in the development of materials and content needed to support story creation, and media outreach and engagement. This role serves in a cross-functional capacity that collaborates closely with the segment teams, executive teams, creative teams, and key stakeholders in the company.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute annual thought leadership plan through content, live and virtual events, advertising, speaking engagements, PR, earned media, and Social Media
• Managing the Social Media strategy and calendar, including content planning and coordinating with creative team
• Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns
• Maintain and grow relationships with journalists and media outlets and manage press inquiries
• Craft compelling press releases, media alerts, corporate announcements, Social Media content, and communication materials
• Organize and oversee executive speaking engagements and media opportunities
• Analyze and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and Social Media campaigns
• Monitor industry news and trends, identifying creative ways to help the brand remain at the forefront of energy themes
• Prepare media plans, communications briefings, and Q&A documents for executives and stakeholders
• Coordinate media visits, interviews, and background briefings
• And other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Public Relations in either an agency or in-house
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and/or similar field of study
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Experience working with B2B technology, SaaS, or consulting companies
• Project management skills are a must and experience with Asana is a plus
• Familiarity with Spout Social, Hootsuite, or similar Social Media management software
• Successful track record of executing Public Relations campaigns with clear goals and objectives that align with business priorities
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork and project management skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Salesforce CRM and Pardot (or similar) is a plus
