- Following established federal rules and regulation governing the WIC Program provide basic program information to applicants.
- Process NYWIC certification according to established guidelines.
- Maintain proper scheduling in NYWIC system. Schedule initial and subsequent certification appointment for participants/applicants.
- Assemble participant charts with subsequent filing of the same.
- Must do paper certification when NYWIC system is down.
- Must keep a log of all outreach activities in the WIC department. Responsible for ordering the incentives, to arrange the plans for outreach activities and to document in the NYWIC system.
- Responsible for calling participants that are interested in applying for the WIC Program.
- Generate Daily Schedule and No Show reports on a daily basis.
- Responsible to keep Alpha Listing, Daily Schedule, No Show, Sign-In sheet, EBT card Count, and NYWIC Library updated.
- Review charts and file them on a daily basis, when needed.
- Maintain EBT card registers, EBT card issuance on a daily basis.
- Responsible for maintaining or increasing the caseload of the WIC clients by using the tools in the NYWIC system, reminder calls and no-show reports, etc.
- File active/inactive charts on a daily basis. Make sure that all proxy forms are updated.
- Report all incidents of stolen/missing EBT cards to supervisor.
- Maintain help desk log for all calls to the HELP DESK. Make sure tickets are closed.
- Answer telephones and all other duties as may be required.
- Cover of two WIC sites which would include flexible hours and weekends.
- Coverage of health fairs, including holidays and weekends.
- Act as the clerical supervisor, whenever needed.
- Managing the office supplies & inventories in both sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,686.00 - $39,000.00 per year
