Job Description

These positions may be located in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, or Wasilla
depending upon on the location of the most qualified candidate.
What you will be doing:As a Public Assistance Analyst 1 (PAA 1), you will research, analyze, trouble shoot and provide escalated customer support for cardholders, retailers, state staff, federal officials and auditors. You will be the primary technical expert on the Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) system for the Department of Health (DOH).

Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities in
  • Public assistance operations, processes and procedures, client management, and case administration; and/or
  • Eligibility computing system operations, procedures, and techniques
equivalent to those typically gained by:
Experience making eligibility determinations for public or medical assistance programs and/or performing special complex assignments for public or medical assistance programs.

SCOPE OF RECRUITMENT
Department Employee Recruitment: Applicants must currently work in the recruiting department and hold permanent employment status.
