The Night Auditor will be responsible for assisting guests with their requests, balancing accounts from the day shift, check in guests arriving after Front Desk team leaves for evening, handle guest requests and take reservations.
Primary Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)
· Provide a warm, friendly greeting to all members/guests arriving and departing the lodge and club.
· Be conversant and knowledgeable about the immediate needs of the member/guest.
· Responsible for end-of-day tasks, including processing guest payments, balancing reports, reconciling the cash drawers at the front desk, and preparing invoices for the following day.
· Assist front office with lodge operations: registration, reservations.
· Resolve all guest and operational problems and communicate major problems to the Lodge Rooms Manager, MOD, and VP Hospitality.
· Prepare and provide next day reports for lodge.
· Respond to guest complaints, requests, and emergencies.
· Reconcile all accounts in a timely manner. Balancing the accounts from day shift.
· Schedule guest wake-up calls and reservations for the following day.
· Managing front desk activity and handling guest check-ins and check-outs.
· Contact police whenever a situation of serious nature that cannot be handled by our staff.
· Prepare incident reports for all unusual or out of the ordinary events, review incident report and provide critiques to staff for improvement suggestions.
· Any other duties as assigned or requested by club management from time to time.
Qualifications and Characteristics Required
· Any combination of education or experience equivalent to the graduation of high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform to the position standards.
· Experience in customer service or hospitality. Minimum of 2 years in a related role.
· Experience with accounting procedures and administrative tasks.
· Proficiency with computers.
· Analytical mind, with strong attention to detail and an affinity for numbers.
· Good organizational and time-management skills.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Ability to read, write and speak the English language sufficient to understand direction and to meet guest needs.
· Ability to work a flexible work schedule.
Physical/Mental Requirements
· Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, able to bend, push, pull, kneel, and stretch or stand for the duration of the required shift.
· Must be able to endure long periods of standing, sitting and walking.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
