Job Description:

Family in River Forest seeks part-time housekeeping help.

Compensation: $50/hr.

Job Details and Requirements:

• Guaranteed hours. One 3-hour day every two weeks--to be chosen upon mutual decision between family and housekeeper.
• Housekeeper MUST have extensive verifiable experience & is comfortable with a multitude of surfaces using green/natural cleaning methods (vinegar/water, specialty products, etc.).
• Applicant must have a working knowledge of how to care for varies types of surfaces and textiles.
• The Housekeeper’s responsibilities include complete cleaning and maintenance of the house as well as maintaining a schedule for seasonal deep cleaning and assisting with home organization (closets, seasonal items, etc.).  
• Keep cleaning and household supply lists of products; notify when inventory is running low.
• Both parents are in/out of the home. The Housekeeper must be comfortable with this arrangement.
• Housekeeper must be comfortable working alongside other staff in the home (Nanny).

Qualifications:

• Housekeeper must be energetic, proactive and able to keep up with a large busy household.
• Housekeeper must be honest, reliable and cognizant of family privacy.
• Housekeeper must have an eye for detail and be proactive, rather than waiting to be told next steps.
