Social Media Coordinator
JOON is a Persian-inspired haircare company. LUMINAE is a salon professional brand of hair lighteners and toning products. We are a collection of salon professional haircare brands. Our offices are based in Houston, TX.
We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Coordinator who must have a strong understanding of social and digital media outlets, with the ability to create tailored content for various Social Media platforms (Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads and Youtube). You must be able to edit videos on your phone. You also need to be a great writer, proofer and editor with a very keen attention to detail in all work assignments. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, creative self-starter and multitasker with an understanding of storytelling in the beauty space. They will work hand-in-hand with our founder to ideate a Social Media strategy and execute it both internally and also with our network of content creators.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, implementing, posting and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and ultimately increase sales / revenue
- Manage the company’s Social Media profiles including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, and Youtube, the company's website, and other relevant platforms
- Must come up with creative content ideas/campaigns, organize and execute these ideas either internally or with the help of content creators to engage our customers and community on Social Media.
- Must schedule and post on Social Media accounts.
- You must know how to edit videos on your phone.
- Manage email and sales channels
- You need to be a great writer, proofer and editor with a very keen attention to detail in all work assignments.
- Engage with Social Media fans to increase followers and grow the brand voice and personality
- Be able to create posts on Canva (or Photoshop).
- Proofread or help contribute to company marketing emails.
- Develop a pertinent set of KPIs to report on Social Media performance; Social listen and report back findings to teams on trends and conversations; drive growth across all Social Media channels
- Build relationship with digital creators through managing content partnerships.
- Answer customer service email questions
- Other relevant job duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Possess a passion for haircare or beauty
- High School Diploma or GED
- Self-education on Social Media
- Excellent copywriting skills
- On-the-beat with trends and culture
- Understand beauty aesthetic and what’s on-brand
- Are obsessed with Social Media and staying up-to-date on current trends on Tiktok, instagram, Youtube, and Facebook
- Familiarity with canvas, e-mail marketing software, Social Media scheduling programs
- Must be able to create social posts on Canva or Photoshop
- You are detail-oriented and highly organized
- Have a self-starter and hustler personality
- Understand the importance of punctuality
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
