Job Description:

Title: 12 Month PT Secretary- Food Services Department

Hours: 8am-11:30am

Days: Monday-Friday

Benefits not included

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduation from HS/GED

• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Suite or related software

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• One year of office clerical experience

Other responsibilities may include:

• Report directly to the Food Services Director and Assistant Superintendent for Business, or their designee

• Organize data in Excel spreadsheets, using features such as formulas, sort, charts, and graphs

• Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence

• Plan, maintain, and supervise filing systems for correspondence and records

• Review reports and other documents for completeness, accuracy, and conformity with established procedure

• Prepare documents for requested form of delivery, which may include digital methods (e-mail, cloud upload) and physical methods (printing, copying, hand delivery, mail, etc.)

• Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical

• Possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, staff, and outside agencies

• Answer phones and greet families, students, staff and customers needed

• Comply with and execute all safety and security protocols/procedures for the building and district

• Other related duties as assigned
