Psychotherapist / Mental Health Counselor

We are currently seeking full-time and part-time Licensed Psychotherapists to provide individual therapy and/or couples therapy, and family therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
• Provide prevention-oriented therapy
• Implement and review treatment plans
• Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
• Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Mental Health counseling or other related fields
• Familiarity with community Mental Health resources
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong leadership qualities
• Candidate must have at least a Masters degree in counseling or counseling related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate is Licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation as an LPC, LCPC, or LCP

• Ideal candidate may have a doctorate degree in Counseling related field (such as Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counselor Education & Supervision, Marriage and Family Therapy)

• Ideal candidate must have either experience, training, certification or interest in therapies that integrate in mind body soul holistic approaches, creative therapies, somatic therapies, or trauma focused therapies or experiential techniques (e.g. EMDR, EFT, Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy, Dance Therapy, Movement Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, Sand tray Therapy, Drama therapy, Narrative Therapy)

• Experience or Value of Diversity is a major PLUS

There are many different shifts available including: M-F 8:00-3:00, M-F 2:00-9:00pm, Sat and Sun 8:00- 2:00pm
