Unit: Adult Co-Occurring/Addictions
Shift/Hours:
- Day/Evening Shift: 3:30pm & 3:00pm - 11:30pm (FT, 40 hrs/wk)
- Evening/Night Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30pm & 11pm - 7:30am (FT, 40 hrs/wk)
Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with team treatment plans.
Administer medical treatment as prescribed by physician.
Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and their families.
Provide day-to-day clinical direction to assigned Mental Health Workers or other paraprofessional staff.
Document and report patient progress to treatment team.
Number of Beds: 22
Patient Population: Adults with concurrent chemical dependency
Common Diagnoses: Patients who suffer from one or more psychiatric disorders, including but not limited to: bipolar disorder, depression, and first-break psychosis
Qualifications:
- Certification: BLS/CPR
- Education: ASN
