Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Pod Psychiatry is an innovative, tech infused, Mental Health organization coming to Seattle in early 2024! We are currently seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner located in Seattle, Washington to join our clinical team. We offer psychiatry and Mental Health services to clients in the Seattle area virtually as well as in our Seattle office location. This position is a hybrid position, majority of the time patients will be seen virtually.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of clinical experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, thrives in a rapidly changing start-up environment, and can function independently.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with Mental Health disorders
- Prescribe and manage medications for patients
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, families, and groups
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families about Mental Health conditions and treatment options
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality

Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health
- Current state licensure as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Experience in diagnosing and treating Mental Health disorders across the lifespan
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in psychiatric care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Skills:
- Health coaching: Knowledge and experience in providing guidance and support to individuals in making positive health behavior changes.
- Diagnostic evaluation: Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose Mental Health disorders.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $75.00 - $90.00 per hour
