Job Summary
Westat is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join its team as a Proposal Operation Analyst. The Proposal Operation Analyst role involves working directly with proposal managers and coordinating all support resources (i.e., editorial, document production services, graphics, pricing, reproduction, and contracts.) to facilitate development and delivery of high-quality, compliant proposals, adhering to company standards and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the proposal manager to create and monitor the proposal schedule through submission.
- Assist the proposal manager with the compilation of proposal draft materials and oversee formatting.
- Partner with corporate resources to support proposal development.
- Request updates and compile staff resumes and project summaries.
- Prepare past performance chapters/volumes and prepare/submit questionnaires.
- Conduct quality and compliance audits.
- Coordinate final proposal production and submission.
Basic Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 5 years of Federal government proposal experience.
- Experience with Federal government RFPs and proposal requirements.
- Experience with MS Office/Office 365 and MS Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), Foundation-Level Certification.
- Experience with grant proposals.
- Knowledge of state, local, foundation, and commercial proposals.
- Extensive experience developing proposals for key clients, including CDC, NIH, SAMHSA, CMS, other HHS agencies, ED, SSA, USDA, DOT, and VA.
