Job Summary:
Raytheon has an excellent opportunity within the Operations and Supply Chain (OSC) Proposal Excellence Team for a Proposal Analyst. This position will support all Supply Chain related proposal activity. This great growth opportunity will provide an ambitious individual with the ability to interface and partner with external suppliers, Supply Chain and Estimating Leadership during pursuits of new and follow-on business.
In this dynamic and fast paced environment, this candidate will be supporting Supply Chain Proposal Managers with collection of metrics, follow up on aging action items, tracking and reporting cycle time and compliance to proposals, preparing request for proposals (RFPs) to be sent to suppliers, reviewing suppliers cost and pricing data for compliance, performing price analysis, and pulling reports in Process Reinvention Integrating Systems for Manufacturing (PRISM) to prep for Supplier Engagement.
United States (U.S.) Citizenship status is required.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Support sending supplier RFP’s, obtaining cost and pricing data for proposal efforts within the Supply Base Review supplier cost and pricing data and perform price analyses for reasonableness Tracking supplier status and validities from RFP to contract award on multiple proposal efforts at one time Tracking and reporting metrics to Global Supply Chain Leadership team and Peers Analyze quoted pricing to historical pricing and work to understand variances
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 5 years related work experience OR an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years related work experience.
Experience working in the Department of Defense (DoD) Aerospace & Defense industry
Experience working as Subcontract Manager, Financial Analyst, or Estimating Analyst
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 15 requirements
Experience at the intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office especially Excel
Experience with general Supply Chain processes
Experience with strong documentation and timeline management
Master's Degree (MA, MS, MBA) or equivalent
Active Secret DoD security clearance
Experience in functional estimating, program business and/or functional business roles is highly desired
Ability to analyze data (specifically using price analysis techniques to determine reasonableness of pricing)
Supplier management experience (Purchase Order placement, proposal reviews, Best Value Source Selections, Competition)
Experience working proposals from a Supply Chain or Estimating & Pricing perspective
Strong organization skills, and the ability to work well with peers and management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented with the ability to ensure that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures and schedules

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
