Job description:
- Oversee all aspects of leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organized property files, including leases, contracts, and tenant information.
- Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely completion and quality work.
- Manage the leasing process, including advertising vacancies, conducting tenant screenings, and preparing lease agreements.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Handle tenant move-ins and move-outs, conducting inspections and documenting any necessary repairs or deductions.
- Maintain professional relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure efficient property operations.
- Assist with budgeting and financial management for the property.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of affordable housing compliance regulations.
- Familiarity with property maintenance and facilities management.
- Understanding of property leasing processes and tenant relations.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience in property management is preferred.
