Overview: We are seeking a motivated and dedicated entry-level Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our properties. This role involves performing various tasks related to property upkeep, repairs, and general maintenance under the guidance of senior technicians and property managers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance and repair needs.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, and carpentry work.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and electrical appliances.
- Participate in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the property, including common areas and grounds.
- Aid in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for Property Maintenance.
- Support senior technicians in executing preventative maintenance schedules.
- Assist with the setup and takedown of equipment for events or property-related activities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of maintenance procedures and techniques is a plus.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills in Property Maintenance.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
- Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Possession of a valid driver's license may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical/vocational training in relevant fields such as HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems.
- Prior experience in a similar maintenance or construction-related role.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to Property Maintenance.
