Property Desk Adjuster

Must have experience in property claims (structural/building, not Auto or Health), and/or construction accounting for insurance reimbursed work.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estimating & Accounting Coordinator to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the estimating team with follow-up emails and phone calls to insurance adjusters to expedite getting an agreed-to figure. The accounting portion of this role will require working in QuickBooks and our CRM to ensure clients are properly and timely billed, and accounts payables are posted. This is a full-time position.

Duties:

• Follow-Up: Provide follow up calls & emails to insurance adjusters to help facilitate getting agreed-to figures.
• Accounts Receivable: Post invoices to customers based upon data gathered from CRM reports, meetings, and internal request.
• Accounts Payable: Log & Post bills from vendors and subcontractors. Reconcile account statements
• Receive Payments: Post payments in QB and produce daily deposit recap
• Reporting: Generate reports for estimating & accounting departments according to regular schedule and distribute.
• Portal Updates: Collect portal updates from Estimating team and post daily to word doc by specified time.
• General Admin: Email and mail invoices to clients. Take credit card payments from clients. Answer vendors & subcontractor questions about the status of their bills. Attend meetings. Administrate Collections meeting weekly. etc.

Experience: Please notate if you have experience with any of the following programs:

• Xactimate (Xactanalysis, Xactware)
• QuickBooks
• Dash
