Propane Operations Manager

District / General Manager – Central Texas

We are a non-major, multi-district propane gas marketer with a strong focus on safety, customer service, and business results. This role will include full P&L responsibility for a multi-location territory where you will establish the annual business plan, lead the customer growth initiative, and maintain regulatory compliance while providing employee leadership in achievement of the daily business goals.

Develops, reviews, updates and implements business strategic planning, including marketing, sales, financial performance and staffing requirements.
The General Manager is responsible for assisting all employees in meeting the requirements of their individual positions, and for ensuring that all facilities and employees meet or exceed the required safety standards.
The heart of our business is providing the safe delivery of propane to residential, commercial and industrial customers.
This successful candidate will require a solid background in Safety, DOT Compliance, Routing/Distribution, Employee Relations, Sales, Customer Service and P&L Management.
Communicates importance of safety; ensures employees have the tools and equipment necessary to comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Executing the daily operational activities. This execution may take the form of direct selling, employee recruitment, coaching and development of your team, route management and intermittent hands-on work in the field.
• Implementation of marketing plans to achieve annual growth objectives.
• Take personal ownership of ensuring that we offer maximum customer satisfaction while growing the business and meeting profit objectives.
•Responsible for regulatory compliance with Texas Railroad Commission, OSHA, DOT and Department of Labor.
