POSITION OVERVIEW
The Projects Technician will provide a superb installation service for our client base. Projects Technician’s travel to our clients’ place of business to perform new installation of High-Speed Doors, Roll-up and Sliding Fire Doors, Overhead Coiling and Sliding Dock Levelers & Platforms, all types of Dock Seals, Shelters and related equipment, Entrance Doors, Frames and Hardware. A primary requirement would be a strong background with basic hand, power, and diagnostic tools, and you should be physically fit to lift heavy equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Lead installations of all types of commercial doors on project sites
- Installation of doors and hardware as required
- Drive to the job site and complete installation of materials assuring that the daily schedule is complete, and all installations are finished to the customers’ satisfaction.
- Organize, take inventory, and maintain hardware
- Lead with completion of Job Card tickets with field notes and completion photos
- Ability to troubleshoot product installation issues on site as required
- Communicate with Project Coordinator for any changes, issues and project completion
- Update and correct details of work performed, and parts used
- Provide accurate details and reports on parts and services needed
- Analyze and respond professionally to customers' concerns and annotate them in our internal system
- Organize tools and parts at job sites and on trucks
- Observe and adhere to all safety policies and identify and report unsafe work practices or conditions

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma/GED
