Job description

This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.
We seek a talented and dedicated analyst with excellent interpersonal skills and a good attendance record to join a professional team. The incumbent serves as the divisional Projects Coordinator to establish work plans and timeliness for completing work tasks, assignments, and projects. Tracks project activities; maintains comprehensive project documentation and implementation; and prepares project reports and performance documentation. Monitors, analyzes, and evaluates the effectiveness of programs, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency or make recommendations. Provides analytical support to divisional projects and task forces. Participates in developing policies and procedures, and reviews complex reports for content to ensure conformance with established policies. As the division's Legislative Coordinator, prepares divisional analyses of current and proposed legislation and responds to the LO and other divisions regarding the impact of legislation on divisional programs. Prepares and submits responses for the Employee Suggestion Program and Board of Control claims. Composes memos, decision papers, and other correspondence. and facilitates and makes verbal presentations as needed. Provides backup to the Staff Services Administrative team analysts.

Working Conditions
Full-time telework. Telework requires California residency.
This position is eligible for full-time telework. However, position may be required to occasionally report to the designated office location in DMV headquarters at 2415 First Avenue, Sacramento, California, 95818 or at 10911 White Rock Road, Rancho Cordova, California, 95670. Telework requires California residency. Travel expenses related to reporting to designated office is employee's own responsibility and is not eligible for reimbursement.
