Form of workZurich (Schaumburg, IL) seeks a Project Test and Quality Manager responsible for designing and developing the Testing Strategy for all phases of the testing including Sprint testing, System Integration, Regression, Automation and Performance testing for multiple projects on the platform. Specific duties include: play a key subject matter expert role in software quality assurance testing; remain current with industry trends with testing techniques and methodologies; partner with Zurich testing staff and other strategic testing vendors to provide implementation testing support of technology solutions in an Agile environment; assess and mature the current testing capabilities and integrate with existing CI/CD pipeline; work with other vendor Test Leads / Offshore teams to develop test accelerators /Automated test harnesses; assist management and vendor Test Leads with assessing Test frameworks / tools, resource planning, estimations and planning; partner with Business Analysts/Business SME’s to help define Integration, User Acceptance and Regression testing strategy/plan; provide day to day direction to the testing teams; participate in daily stand-up/Scrum calls and project status meetings to provide testing status and testing metrics; and identify key risk items and dependencies and communicate effectively with cross functional teams. Option to work remotely with required travel to the Schaumburg, IL headquarters 2-3 days a week.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a closely related field of study, plus 8 years of experience in the job offered, or similar position in Quality Assurance / Testing. Must have 5 years of experience with each of the following: working in the Insurance P&C domain supporting Policy Administration Transformational programs; and working in Guidewire Policy Center or other equivalent COTS - Policy Admin platforms. Must also have 3 years of experience leading Quality Assurance / Testing engagements for medium to large sized transformational programs. Additionally, specific experience must include working with DevOps Integration with Test Harness, Functional and Manual testing techniques. Option to work remotely with required travel to the Schaumburg, IL headquarters 2-3 days a week.
