The Project Surveyor plans, coordinates, and executes survey work commissioned by internal and external clients. This work includes necessary office production work to complete the project. Projects can be larger or of a more complex nature so this position requires solid experience and may require that you work with other professional disciplines or outside consultants.
- Drafting plats using AutoCAD/Civil 3D (Land development, ALTA/NSPS boundary surveys, various exhibits, etc.)
- Work with the Project Manager/Team Leader to evaluate the scope of work, schedule, budget, project instructions and responsibilities.
- Use excel and survey programs to process, verify data, and run reports.
- Review research deeds and maps, perform boundary analysis, and determinations.
- Prior to initiation of work - draft job hazard analysis for projects.
- Apply appropriate boundary law principles and regulatory standards to accurately prepare boundary survey drawings.
- Maintain exceptional internal and external client relations.
Qualified candidates will be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word and Outlook, GPS post-processing software, and internet search engines as well as Trimble Business Center.
