Stark Tech is currently seeking a Project Manager to serve the New York Metro Market. This position will be responsible for providing management support to a multi-disciplined team for projects from concept to completion.
How are you successful in this role?
Manage all resources and costs for assigned projects, including staff, contractors, materials/parts, and budgets. Work with sales and engineering teams to identify project scope and objectives. Review and analyze proposals, cost estimates, and contracts with sales team member(s). Identify project risks and facilitate solutions. Provide monthly performance evaluations for projects through WIP (Work In Progress) reports, Forecasted billing and Final billing(s). Ensure project targets are achieved accurately and timely. Oversee and coordinate site training for customers. Guarantee conformity to safety regulations, maintaining financial records for projects, and coordinating construction activities to ensure projects are successful.
What are we looking for?
- Associate degree in business administration or related field required.
- Practical knowledge and understanding of the AIA project billing process.
- 1-3 years of project management experience in building infrastructure and/or energy reduction initiatives required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction or HVAC industry required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of BMS (Building Management Systems) - installation, service and operation. (Schneider Electric knowledge a plus.)
- Must have or be able to obtain 10- hour OSHA certification.
- Be highly motivated and an independent thinker.
- Must be able to thrive in a fast pace setting and adapt/be flexible in a changing environment.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld devices, such as Smartphones, iPads, etc.
- Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers regarding inspection and service findings is required.
What would we love to see?
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- PMP, CEM, LEED AP, EIT, or PE certifications a plus.
- Sound understanding of Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering preferred.
