Job Description
The basic function of a Project Manager is to facilitate the coordination of projects
from award to completion of install through correspondence with the customer and all
other pertinent parties.
Must have experience in steel/structural industries.
- Bid out Detailing and assign projects to Detailers
- Review prior to submittal to verify drawing completion
- Review returns to ensure all open questions have been answered
- Maintain saving drawings in the correct locations on the network
- Update Deck order and delivery dates
- Update the project status for assigned projects
- Coordinate shipping with Production Manager , Ownership and site conditions
- Coordinate equipment & rentals needed on jobsites
- Maintain communication with the Production manager for scheduling projects
- Complete Sequencing and Load Lists for shipping per Project
- Keep the Production Manager apprised of projects with completed detailing and production ready
- Communicate with other Project Managers and Ownership as necessary
- Perform site visits to verify job site progress for scheduling needs as well as communicating necessary site prep with the customer
