Qualifications
Solid experience in handling multiple projects and teams
In-depth understanding of the Video Editing process
Has excellent communication skills
Has great attention to detail
Has great organizational skills
Requires minimal supervision
Experience of using various project management platforms (eg: ClickUp, Slack, Notion, ActiveCollab, Frame.io, Google Chat, Google Meet, Google Drive, Airtable)
Tasks
Efficiently communicate and collaborate with clients to discuss and understand project requirements, translating them into clear and concise project briefs.
Cultivate strong client relationships through open and transparent communication, consistently meeting deadlines, meticulous attention to details, adaptability to industry trends, and continuous exploration of innovative ways to enhance and add value to projects.
Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of ten (10) highly skilled video editors.
Allocate projects to video editors, effectively managing deadlines and workloads.
Quality checking of all projects before submission to the clients, ensuring that they are of high standards and exceeds client expectations.
Conduct weekly mentorship sessions with video editors to provide feedback, suggest creative ideas, and motivate them to enhance their overall work ethic and time management skills.
Potentially takeover projects of unavailable video editors, or delegate tasks to other suitable video editors.
Organize and store project files systematically on a cloud-based storage platform, adhering to Client's file naming and organization structure.
Assist in onboarding and training of new hires.
Assist in connecting new clients with the video editor best match to their requirements, creative style, and preferences.
Contribute to the company’s marketing efforts, including the production of marketing materials.
