Project Manager - Public Trust Clearance

IGS is currently recruiting for a remote Project Managerto support NIH.
Assignment of Work and Travel:
This is a remote access assignment. Candidates will work remotely daily and will remotely access NIH systems and therein use approved NIH provided communications systems. Travel is not required; however, the candidate may be required to attend onsite client meetings as requested.
Responsibilities and Duties (Included but not limited to):

• Oversee all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects.
• Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project.
• Provide applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources.

Requirements

• 5 years of Project Manager experience with a BS (Bachelor of Science) degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline.
• Understanding of business requirements and developing business cases.
• Experience with any of the following application development services specializing in creating, designing, deploying, and supporting commercial software, custom applications, and tools especially in the areas of:

1. Programming Languages: C++, C#, CSS, Go, HTML, Java, JavaScript, Jython, PHP, Python, Power Fx, Cold Fusion
2. Frameworks: Angular JS, Django, Microsoft.NET, React, Spring
3. Databases: Dataverse, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server
4. IT Support: business analysis
5. Microsoft Azure
6. Microsoft 365: SharePoint and Teams; Power Platform (Microsoft Power Apps/Power Automate/Power Pages/Dynamics/Power BI)

• Experience with 508 compliances.
• Ability to support customers during EST hours.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NIH Public Trust.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship due to clearance requirement.

Preferred Qualifications and Core Competencies:

• PMP certification
• Knowledge of HHS Operating divisions
• Active HHS or NIH Public Trust
• Prior, successful experience working in a remote environment.

Compensation: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
