The Project Manager:
We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and strategic Project Manager to lead and project manage all event initiatives for Dave Asprey, founder of Bulletproof Coffee, Father of Biohacking, best-selling author, and host of The Human Upgrade Podcast. The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, creating, and managing of comprehensive project plans for all conferences, events, and CEO speaking engagements.
You Will:
Organize and manage all aspects of events and speaking engagements deliverables.
Create work-back timelines for each event and speaking engagement.
Ensure all critical timelines are met.
Work within various software programs (Monday.com etc) to manage all details.
Keep the team on task to deliver all program elements on time and within budget.
Maintain strong communication with all team members throughout the planning and implementation process.
Ensure communication to internal team members and external partners is well thought out, strategized, and successfully executed.
Monitor and report on event progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Manage special events projects as needed, demonstrating agility and adaptability.
Lead weekly team meetings presenting information and updates to keep team on task.
Track, measure and report results of events and speaking engagement initiatives.
Help to manage the flow of operations during an event to ensure that everything runs smoothly, including setup, breakdown, activities, and tear down.
Collaborate with the team to develop and evolve world class events.
You Should Have:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years of administrative management experience.
Project Management Certification preferred: PMI or PMP certification.
Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize multiple systems and applications.
Demonstrated problem solving, confidence and decision-making ability to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency; able to delegate time sensitive tasks and communicate to a range of audiences including to executive management.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing reflecting a clear, accurate, and courteous style with team members, managers, and executives.
Proven experience as a Project Manager.
Demonstrated experience in project management and events coordination.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with many deliverables and deadlines and pivoting when necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills, providing recommendations for complex problems.
Ability to thrive under pressure.
Enthusiasm for events and all that goes into them.
Must be self-motivated and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
Compensation:
Based on this position and the requirements above we are offering an annual salary of $90,000 for this position.
