Summary: Enru Logistics and Postal Optimation is looking for a Project Manager- Freight Operations. This role sits onsite in Bolingbrook, IL. reporting to the Chief Operations Officer. The Project Manager- Freight Operations is responsible for optimizing Freight Operations and ensuring operational efficiency and compliance during the implementation of new enterprise systems within Enru's logistics supply chain operations. This role involves managing all aspects of freight movement, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. The Project Manager will work with cross-functional teams, oversee project budgets, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
The Project Manager for Freight Operations plays a crucial role in optimizing transportation, reducing costs, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods. They are responsible for overseeing projects from inception to delivery, while also managing budgets and risks to maintain a high standard of service within the logistics operation. In this role you will develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards related to system implementation, coordinate with freight, logistics, and IT teams, and conduct regular operational reviews and updates. Must have knowledge of Freight Operations and regulations and identify and mitigate operational risks associated with system implementations.
Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage freight and transportation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet objectives, timelines, and budget constraints. Own and manage projects for delivery on time and within budget.
• Optimize Freight Operations, focusing on the implementation of new enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards related to system implementation, providing insights and recommendations to optimize operational performance.
• Coordinate with freight, logistics, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of the new system and alignment of operational strategies with implementation goals.
• Conduct regular operational reviews and updates related to system implementation, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with system implementations, ensuring adherence to operational policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational initiatives related to system implementation and contribute to the overall success of the implementation project.
• Provide operational expertise and guidance on projects and strategic initiatives related to system implementation.
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• 4+ years experience in project managment logistics, supply chain, transportation processes or a related field.
• Strong Trucking domain experience and experience as a Freight Forwarder or Broker.
• Experience in managing operational aspects of system implementations.
• Previous experience with Oracle OTM strongly preferred or transportation managment software and technology with specific concentration in carrier managment, load building and optimization, rate management and tracking.
• Strong knowledge of Freight Operations and regulations.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present operational information clearly and concisely related to system implementations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft products
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
