PROJECT MANAGER FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEMS
Fire Safety and Protection LLC Atlanta is a leading provider of fire and life safety services. We offer inspection, maintenance, repair, design, and installation on a variety of systems for commercial, industrial, institutional, and governmental facilities. The company is led by veterans of the fire and life safety industry.
The basic function of the Project Manager Fire Sprinkler Systems for commercial properties will be to manage assigned projects ensuring the customer and the interest of the corporation is properly served and to secure commercial contracts in support of sales.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Project Manager Fire Sprinkler Systems reports to the General Manager with dotted line to Sales.
The following position(s) report directly to the Project ManagerSprinkler Systems
- Designated Field Personnel
- Designated Administrative Staff
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The Project ManagerSprinkler Systems prepares quotations based on reviewing construction drawings and specifications of fire protection systems, including but not limited to: Sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, fire pump and special fire suppression systems in accordance with codes.
The role will provide estimates to existing and new customers based upon review of bid documents, site reviews for both plan and specifications and design build opportunities. This role is also responsible for the project management of successful tender opportunities including ordering of material, project schedule, pricing, and maintaining as-built drawings. Occasional site visits/pre-bid walkthroughs.
EXPERIENCE
- Required: 7+ years of experience installing, designing, supervising or managing the installation of commercial sprinkler/fire protection systems.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of sprinkler system design
- Educational background in Fire Protection or similar field an asset
- Knowledge of general construction process and terminology
- Ability to read blueprints
- Sound knowledge of the relevant and applicable Ontario building codes and NFPA
- Superior math and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate and work well with architectures, clients and contractors.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical, thorough, resourceful and detail oriented
- Team and customer service-focused
EDUCATION
- Required: High School Diploma.
- Preferred: BS Degree Business, Industry related technical and management/sales training certification.
LICENSING/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION
Required: Valid Driver's License with clean driving record and no DUI convictions and successful completion/certification of industry related apprenticeship program.
Preferred: NICET II/III
LOCATION: Norcross, GA. Will assist with relocation.
