Project Manager Design-Build/PEMB

Duties and Responsibilities:
In this role, the design/build Project Manager will carry out the following:
Manage own projects; plan work schedule, determine manpower levels and project objectives, policies, and procedures. All projects are design/build in nature and not bid/at risk.
Initiate and maintain positive and professional relationships with clients, architects and/or engineers, superintendents, and erection crews as well as other key business relationships.
Provide technical assistance with the interpretation of drawings, methods, and equipment needed.
Professionally represent the company in project meetings.
Simultaneously manage multiple design/build projects, PEMB and PEMB hybrid projects, in various stages of construction and effectively communicate changes in projects to all necessary parties. (experience in estimating is a plus)
Experience and qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, civil engineering, Architecture, or related.
(In lieu of a bachelor's degree in these fields a 4-year degree and/or 5+ years experience in Project Management of PEMB, heavy steel construction, or steel erection will be considered)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as experience with MS Office suite, MS Project, and/or industry-related project management software (Edge, ProCore, etc) and ERP software.
Prior experience working with a construction project management team (project engineer, assistant Project Manager or similar) and coordinating with Superintendents, clients, vendors, etc. in the steel or PEMB industry.
OR
Experience in engineering, estimating, or customer management with a PEMB manufacturer (Butler Mfg, BlueScope Construction, Nucor Buildings Systems, Ceco Buildings Systems, Star Buildings, Etc...) or Steel
Fabricator (Schuff Steel, Cives Steel, Pacific Steel, Lexicon, etc...) and the desire to move into Project Management.
