The Project Manager is responsible for owning projects impacting the North America legal entity. This person will own all financial components of the project from end-to-end. The Project Manager will be responsible for providing project updates to senior leaders within the organization.
Major Areas of Accountability
- Lead the finance and accounting tracks of key projects impacting the total North America business
- Own the communication of the projects to senior leaders as projects progress
- Work with business leaders to identify opportunities for savings and synergies for local shared service functions
- Implement synergies and efficiencies as identified to reduce shared service capacity cost in the coming years
- Maintain confidentiality on projects until publicly announced
- Work with finance and accounting subject matter experts as needed to support project implementations
Basic Qualifications
- Diverse background in accounting and finance roles
- Experience identifying and implementing cost saving initiatives
- Ability to work simultaneously on various projects
- Ability to work and communicate with various levels within an organization
- Willingness to take on different accounting and finance tasks in support of strategic projects
- BA in Finance, Accounting or related discipline required. MBA preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including project management and implementation experience
- Medical device industry experience preferred

- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and complete tasks efficiently and independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A team player with the ability to use strong verbal reasoning skills to analyze, assess corporate risk, and communicate to appropriate internal stakeholders
