Form of workGpac has partnered with a mechanical contractor looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to their team. The candidate must have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, a fast paced and strong sense of urgency, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. They have strong leadership abilities and the ability to create and manage a team environment where all members are working together towards ensuring total project success
Assistant Project Manager Duties:
- Oversee and assist Project Managers managing construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect workmanship and quality of construction
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits
Assistant Project Manager Requirements:
- 2 years of construction experience
- Knowledge of HVAC
