Overview

Element has a current opening for a Project Manager to join our growing team in Midland, MI. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and managing all aspects of project work. They are responsible for aligning project work with strategy and delivering the project, and working closely with upper management and business development to make sure the scope and direction of each project is on schedule. The Project Manager is the point of contact for the project team and client and ensures all projects comply with Element standards and guidelines. 

Responsibilities
  • Arranges assignments, analyzes the course of the project
  • Reports project status to the management and stakeholders
  • Coordinates and maintains systems and processes, tracking, etc.
  • Supports execution of projects against the contracted scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders using the agreed upon project toolset.
  • Assists and makes recommendation in the coordination of internal resources to meet project/client needs.
  • Supports communication across the internal teams
  • Coordinates/Facilitates Client communications, schedules meetings, records minutes.
  • Identifies obstacles and project risks, and supports resolution activities. Reports and escalates concerns regarding "in house" projects to management as needed.
  • Supports resolution of financial queries that are raised, including timely escalation if extra budget is needed (ie. bringing to GM attention).
  • Able to analyze and use project data to influence decisions that affect project delivery.
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
Skills / Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred
  • 3-5 years' experience
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and an attitude of learning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
