A Project Manager for A&R Mechanical will act on behalf of the organization and be the facilitator with the customers, owners and/or clients for execution of projects. The project Manager will facilitate internally and externally to meet the goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and supervise day-to-day operation of staff assigned on projects.
· Oversee projects ranging to $10M, single or multiple projects totaling that value.
· Facilitate turnovers from estimating to implement process for project execution.
· Lead communications with internal team on BIM execution plan for assigned projects.
· Ensure required permits and/or licenses are procured for projects.
· Identify value engineering and fabrication opportunities, present Customer with alternative options.
· Provide accurate pricing on change requests and ensure all aspects of the request is captured.
· Partner with safety manager for site-specific safety plans and JHA’s.
· Have an on-site presence at the project site; have common understanding of all trade scopes (electrical, structural, etc.)
· Facilitate subcontract negotiations and equipment procurement.
· Work with assigned team members for submittal review and submission. Ensure documentation is accurate, timely and logged.
· Oversee the construction schedule and evaluate whether the deliverables/tasks are on track; analyze and develop schedule with subcontractor; communicate any change in schedules and document any variances to mitigate risk for the team.
· Responsible for overall financial performance of all assigned projects, including continual cost control, management, and forecasting. Create schedule of values and provide cost budget related to task specific codes. Maintain net overbilling and monitor receivables for positive cash position.
· Understand contract requirements related to OCIP/CCIP, tax exemptions, workforce and contract diversity goals, certified payrolls, etc. Implement MBE/WBE/DBE initiatives with strategic partners.
· Responsible for post-project review with preconstruction and operations team.
· Mentor, train, and develop teammates and Interns, including delegation of tasks.
· All other assigned responsibilities.
Experience and Qualifications:
· Bachelor Degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering or 10 years minimum experience working for a mechanical contractor.
· Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint)
· Experience in Bluebeam is benificial.
· Experience in Procore is benificial.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
