Project Manager

Work you will do : The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for leading IT Research and Development projects for a leading pharmaceutical client. The PM will manage the day-to-day aspects of multiple projects including building project plans/schedules, tracking progress, identifying and managing risks, and providing timely status reports to sr. management. It is expected the PM will drive improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for improvement, reducing costs, and providing more efficient overall solutions. The Project Manager will become an extension of the client team by liaising with multiple vendors.
What you will do : In this role, you will work closely with sr. management, scientists and technical teams to deploy and integrate GxP compliant vendor cloud solutions, including an integrated Electronic Lab Notebook platform
Job Responsibilities:

• Strong background in Project Management Principles (Project Planning, Project Requirements, Project Estimating, Resource Management, Scheduling and Controlling, Facilitation, Risk Management, Procurement, Reporting Status, and Change Management)
• Lead the implementation of the ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook) platform, the corresponding data templates, and their associated database models for new or existing workflows
• Support Lab Automatization / Digitalization activities
• Collaborate with laboratory and data scientists to build data management workflows, tools and constructive feedback loops that improve the data collection processes
• Develops and manages project plans/schedules
• Tracks progress and adherence to plan for scope, budget, and schedule
• Develops effective project communication plans and ensures execution
• Identifies and works to resolve team issues
• Facilitates change requests to ensure all team members and stakeholders are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget
• Responsible for project deliverables, ensuring they adhere to quality standards
• Prepares project status reports for Sr. Management and Stakeholders

Must Haves

• 8-10+ years of experience in IT project management
• Pharmaceutical with R&D experience
• GxP validation experience
• Electronic Lab Notebook implementation
• Understanding of project management methodology including project planning, requirements, estimating, resource management, scheduling, and risk/issue management
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships with all team members and stakeholders
• Experience facilitating status meetings and holding team members accountable for status, deliverables, and timely escalation of any barriers to success
• Strong negotiation skills to broker conversations and reach compromises
• Agile expereince
