Project Manager

Position Overview: The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of data center projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with specific experience in data center construction and renovation projects. Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential for this role, as it will be used to develop and manage project schedules and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Scheduling:

   • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements.
   • Utilize Primavera P6 to create and manage project schedules, incorporating critical path analysis and resource leveling.
   • Identify project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to track progress and ensure timely completion.

2. Resource Management:

   • Allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
   • Monitor resource utilization and adjust allocations as needed to optimize project efficiency.

3. Budget Management:

   • Develop project budgets and forecasts, monitoring costs throughout the project lifecycle.
   • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to minimize project expenses.

4. Risk Management:

   • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to address potential issues.
   • Monitor risk factors and implement corrective actions to mitigate project delays or cost overruns.

5. Stakeholder Communication:

   • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and risks.
   • Facilitate communication between project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment and resolve issues.

6. Quality Assurance:

   • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
   • Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to verify workmanship and adherence to design requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on data center construction or renovation projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and resource management.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and industry best practices for data center projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred.
