As a Project Manager at Contemporary Pool Works, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service while overseeing new pool builds and remodel projects. You will lead and manage a professional team of employees and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to CPW standards. Your role is essential in driving increased sales, profitability, and the overall well-being of our team.

- New Pool Build Site Management:
- Coordinate construction team and subcontractors to efficiently complete new pool builds.
- Create weekly schedules for the team, ensuring they have the necessary materials and equipment.
- Ensure construction meets CPW standards and communicate progress to customers and the General Manager.
- Remodel Site Management:
- Coordinate construction team and subcontractors to efficiently complete pool remodels.
- Conduct site visits to manage the team, including employees and subcontractors.
- Coordinate materials and equipment and maintain weekly schedules for the team.
- Scheduling:
- Work with the dispatcher to lay out construction team schedules at least one week in advance.
- Customer Service:
- Field phone calls and make site visits to assist customers with inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all materials are properly accounted for.
- Use software and barcode scanners to track materials in and out of the shop.
- Coordinate the delivery of materials to job sites and ensure that all necessary supplies are available for each project.
- Order materials for new projects based on project requirements and current inventory levels.
- Previous experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to build and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, employees, and subcontractors.
- Familiarity with construction processes and materials used in pool construction.
- Proficiency in software programs such as Service Autopilot, Dialpad, and ToDoist.
- Knowledge of CAD drawing software and CPW Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the custom pool building industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing residential and commercial projects.
- Thorough knowledge of pool construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.
