Purpose of Role: TheProject Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful launch of projects, meeting critical milestones in scope, schedule, financials, and overall quality. They will be accountable for ensuring that everyone on the cross-functional project team understands and executes his or her role, feels empowered and supported in the role, knows the roles of the other team members and acts upon the belief that those roles will be performed. This role will plan, monitor and manage internal projects from initiation through to completion. In this position you will plan leads or coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting and people management. This role will ensure that project(s) results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost. To be successful you will monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Focus Area: Manages planning and delivery of small to medium projects requiring project management expertise, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery within client and department expectations.
- Focus Area: Coordinates projects with business managers, maintaining appropriate documentation levels to communicate project plans, requirements, schedules, budgets, risks, solutions, and may present projects to business stakeholders.
- Focus Area: Assists with prioritization of project work, contributes to project management processes, and reports on project progress, demonstrating commitment to Weir Minerals Core Values.
- Focus Area: Manage smaller budget vendor/consultant relationships to deliver project goals while adhering to company values and standards.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or significant vocational experience in a specialized area or discipline.
- 5 - 8 years of relevant experience with Project Management..
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical data easily and succinctly
- Able to take responsibility and manage tasks through to completion
