Description:
The ideal candidate directly supports specific project activities and operation tasks for unique, independent business projects. Assists in the implementation of improved project designs and operations. Measures effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of assigned projects. Establishes policies and procedures to ensure compliance with project strategies and objectives. Completes special assignments and projects for senior management. Assists the payroll department for the upcoming implementation to the new HR system (SAP Success Factors) project.
Illustrative Duties and Responsibilities
- This role is based in the Hermitage, TN office (Nashville). Daily in-office attendance is necessary to support face-to-face interaction and collaboration with the payroll team and other teams.
- Serves as a subject matter expert in the implementation and ongoing efforts of business projects. Directly delivers and administers specific project services.
- Assists in the development of project objectives, policies, and procedures. Forecasts and estimates project requirements using performance metrics to assist leadership in managing operational activities.
- Prepares reports, presentations, and research using statistical and narrative data for communication/presentation to senior managers.
- Participates in special projects related to business projects. Identifies opportunities for process improvements and redesigns related to assigned projects.
- Demonstrates ability to adapt to changing priorities while multitasking.
- Ability to work independently and willing to take ownership, research solutions, and complete tasks in a timely matter.
- Provides department support for other Firm departments such as HR, Office of General Counsel, Technology, Payroll Taxes, Global Employer Services, Payroll Processing, India Operations, National Benefits Group, Call Center, and Global Mobility.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, MS Teams)
- Familiar with SAP and SmartSheet preferred.
- Project Management Certification.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related area; Minimum of 3 years of related experience
