Project/Task Manager

HOW A PROJECT/TASK MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
• Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned project. Supervises at least 15 employees
• Collaborate with other leaders to plan, track and report on project status
- Support program and project planning and management including contributions to development of plans, timelines, deliverables, and milestones and resource allocation.
- Track program and project status and progress including adherence to schedule, milestones, deliverables, resource consumption and reporting as required
- Draft new and improve existing project management office policies and processes
- Write and edit technical documentation, project management plans, reports, and SOPs
- Continually evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting company and client standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines
- Monitor workload to ensure that projections are on-target based on workload priorities
- Identify and manage risks and develop mitigation plans as required
- Track deliverables and perform quality control activities in accordance with a corporate quality assurance management program
- Provide team leadership, coaching and performance management as required for your team
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: Bachelor Degree in Business or IT management
• Required Experience: 7+ years of experience performing PM role functions and responsibility
• Required Technical Skills: Active PMP
• Security Clearance Level: Public Trust (Moderate Risk - US Citizenship Required)
• Required Skills and Abilities:
• Preferred Skills: Earned Value Management
• Location: Hybrid. expect to spend 25% of the time in Washington DC
