Job Description
As a project developer, your responsibilities encompass the following key aspects:
Objective Setting: Develop project objectives through a comprehensive review of project proposals and plans, coupled with discussions with management.
Specification Determination: Define project specifications by examining product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
Client Collaboration: Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure clear understanding and timely fulfillment of specific project requirements.
Technical Studies and Cost Estimation: Complete technical studies and prepare cost estimates to facilitate project planning.
Project Scheduling: Establish project schedules by analyzing project plans, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, coordinate with external sales teams, and address issues to keep the project on track.
Quality Control: Ensure the project adheres to design and specification standards, suggest schedule adjustments, and recommend actions as needed.
Reporting and Analysis: Generate project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends, with recommendations for necessary actions.
Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and orderly work environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations while upholding federal and state compliance to protect the company's reputation.
Team Collaboration: Contribute to the team's overall success by assisting in related tasks and objectives as required.
Requirements
Completion of a Bachelor's Degree required
1. Minimum of Three Years Field Experience: A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the field. This experience is essential as it demonstrates a practical understanding of the job's requirements, including the challenges, safety protocols, and best practices. 2. Knowledge and Expertise in Control Valves and Actuators: Having expertise in control valves and actuators is a significant advantage. Control valves and actuators are critical components in various industries, including manufacturing, energy, and process control. Proficiency in this area indicates that a candidate is familiar with the equipment used in the role and can troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize these components effectively.
3. Exceptional Computer Literacy and Proficiency in Design and Visualization Software: In today's technological age, computer literacy is a fundamental skill. Exceptional computer skills are valuable in this context, as they can significantly enhance productivity and efficiency. Proficiency in design and visualization software is particularly beneficial for tasks related to schematic diagrams, technical drawings, or process modeling. This skill ensures that the candidate can efficiently communicate and document processes and designs, making the work more streamlined and effective.
The standard work hours for this position are from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. However, it's important to note that, depending on workload and project deadlines, there may be occasions where candidates will be required to work outside of these regular hours, both before and after the standard workday, to ensure successful project completion.
