Job Description
Position Overview:
The Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager and Superintendent(s) in daily activities
on various commercial construction projects. You will directly support the construction project by organizing day to day information such as procurement of materials, supervising trade partners & vendors, RFI, Change Order and Construction Document routing from Office to Field.
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate work and correspondence between all project team members.
Manage all documentation related to the construction project(s).
Assist in bid solicitation and estimate functions.
Document and communicate scope changes and other related impacts to the project.
Review and construct the project in accordance with plans, specifications and Narvick Bros. safety & quality standards.
Coordinate COR ( Change Order Request(s)) with Project Manager.
Coordinate Submittals, RFI and COR on NB Planroom.
Conduct physical layout and periodic site visits on the construction project(s).
Prepare status reports with the Superintendent to monitor budget, contractors and schedules.

Working Conditions:
This position will take place at our main office in Morris, Illinois, Monday - Friday with periodic site visits to our active construction projects. When on active construction projects you may be exposed to fumes, various noise levels, weather conditions and moving mechanical and construction equipment.
