The Operations Transformation technical lead role is a key component into the Enterprise Architecture for Operations. The role coordinates integration points for product roadmaps, helps define scope, and can identify and deconflict efforts to align with Enterprise Operations and Missiles and Fire Control. This role also plays a critical role within the Model Based Enterprise-Operations strategy by providing Subject Matter Expert input, identifies gaps and helps align to functional and EO roadmaps.This role is also an integral part in providing the framework for which Missiles and Fire Control will gather and capture savings. Drive the development team to commonize savings and affordability metrics, coordinate with Functional Operations for change management for Concept of Operations for stakeholders and users of system.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the creation of integration architecture for MFC business data across existing and future data sources; the blueprint for Business Needs implementation (process diagrams, interface diagrams, etc).
- Analyze and execute Operations Digital Thread in the Enterprise Architecture
- Support change management activities such as business process reengineering, and organizational structure development
- Collaborate and build effective relationships with senior level leaders and internal stakeholders across functions and programs
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Proven experience with data and business processes related to Operations, Program support and Manufacturing
- Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
- Proven experience harmonizing systems, processes, and/or data across multiple business areas and functions
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with senior level leaders and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated effectiveness in task definition, planning and organization
- Demonstrated ability to team across organizational boundaries and geographical locations to collaborate with and influence others
- Broad experience / familiarity with working in the Production Operations functional organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include aptitude for formal presentations and ability to effectively communicate complex issues appropriately
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic team environment under general guidance
- Strong organization and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to proactively manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Demonstrated ability to generate creative solutions/ideas to work through complex technical and/or leadership challenge. Experience driving a Growth Mindset into the MFC culture
- Understanding of the production life cycle
- Ability to lead a diverse cross-functional team to meet goals
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Current Security Clearance Preferred
- Experience with implementation of transformational capabilities such as Digital Threads, Digital Twins, Simulation Based Verification and /or other MBE Disciplines
- Experience with System of Systems (SoS) architecture
- Experience with integration and/or utilization of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) systems (processes, architectures, data models)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, customers, and leadership
- Proven experience with business process architecture and business process transformation
- Experience with Concurrent Engineering processes and practices
- Experience with systems modeling tools such as Cameo and/or modeling languages such as SysML and/or UML

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $115,500 - $217,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
