This is a Project Engineer role on the F-22 Business Operations team within Engineering and Technology.
Specific responsibilities include the following:
Responsible for the day to day execution of the development teams and their adherence to this Systems Engineering management plan and Software Maintenance Plan. The Release Train Engineer (RTE) coordinates activities between the scrum teams for the IMIS program, and ensures dependencies are known and addressed. The RTE also works with other parts of the larger F-22 program to guarantee release objectives are met and any risks understood and worked to mitigation plans.
Drives execution of the PI
Responsible for progress and agile metrics across the teams
Acts as the Agile coach for the teams, leading retrospective items to closure to improve execution
Elevates risks/blockers to Release Lead, Product Manager, and leadership team
Assist with development of risk mitigation plans
Coordinates PI planning, demos, retrospectives, and hosts Scrum of Scrums (SoS)
Summarize Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives (the RTE) and publish them for visibility and transparency
Facilitate the PI planning event
Facilitate System Demos
Ensure features and capabilities are completed
Help identify, manage, and elevate risks and dependencies
Support pop-up tasking for anything Project Engineering related
