About the Opportunity

We're expanding our team and seeking a Junior Project Engineer to join us. While we welcome recent college graduates, this role is open to individuals at all experience levels who are passionate about pursuing a career in construction. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow within our company, making this an ideal opportunity for those seeking to kickstart their career in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate bid invitations and documentation to subcontractors, diligently tracking received bids.
• Prepare, distribute, and manage RFIs (Requests for Information) effectively.
• Obtain, organize, and oversee project submittals.
• Compile comprehensive project closeout documentation, including O&Ms, warranties, and as-builts.
• Maintain meticulous project records and documentation within cloud-based job files.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to capture progress photos and ensure project alignment.
• Generate and circulate detailed weekly progress reports to clients and architects.
• Support site supervisors and project managers by assisting with material procurement.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project goals are met

Must-Haves

• Exceptional communication and writing skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Project, etc.).
• Prior exposure to project management software, such as PlanGrid, is advantageous.
• A college degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
