Title – Project Engineer, Houston, TX

We are seeking a Project Engineer with 2-3 years’ experience who will work under the direct supervision of a Project Manager. This position will manage the generation of post purchase order documentation such as shop drawings from engineering team and commercial documents. The ideal candidate will be a good multitasker and have exceptional organization skills to keep track of several projects at various stages of completion ranging from shop drawing approval, manufacturing, shipment, installation, and commissioning.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Prepare and maintain master project spreadsheet with status of various project submittals

· Prepare, monitor and control all project schedules and milestones

· Schedule and assign O&M manual preparation and submission to client

· Review design changes, specifications and all documentation releases

· Assist in reviewing contract terms and conditions with department head.

QUALIFICATIONS

· 4 year degree in Mechanical Engineering or allied engineering sciences

· 2-3 years of project management experience directing multiple projects

· Work well under pressure with passion for excellence and a high sense of urgency

· Strong computer skills required. Ability to clearly communicate, both orally and in writing
