Project Development Specialist Sales Objective:

• Redeem annual sales quota in new PDS role (New Project Development or Pull-thru Work) and obtain gross revenue at desired gross profit margins. The minimum sales quota is calculated based on 12 x the PDS sales professional’s salary.  (Salary is defined as annual compensation less company paid taxes, benefits, commissions, bonus, auto & sales expenses)

 

Minimum weekly activity requirements to obtain sales quota & performance:

• Schedule, deliver & present all (EMA) Electrical Maintenance Analysis reports and findings (sst-118m2) to maintenance clients.
• Sell electrical repair work documented in the EMA report at desired gross profit margin using SST required EMA Repair Proposal (sst-118m3)
• Attend all jobs, PDS on site start up meetings.
• Proactively sell additional electrical service capabilities to Maintenance clients & prospects (i.e., Small Electrical Projects, NFPA 70E Compliancy, IR Windows, Lighting Retrofits, BIM, Solar, Service, etc.)
• Following all completed projects, retain both Maintenance and PDS Clients using a scheduled 6-9 month recommended walk-through service visit.

• Proactively prospect for new PDS Sales clients & opportunities through a series of prospecting methods such as cold calling, networking, and following up on internal and external leads & referrals.
• Develop a synergistic level of support with the Electrical Services Consultant, acting as a technical liaison.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum, 3-5 years electrical experience in any of the following areas:
  • Service/Construction Electrician
  • Electrical Engineer
  • Electrical Project Manager
  • Electrical Service Manager
  • Electrical Estimator
• Estimating experience preferred (aptitude to learn and or be trained)
• Prior Sales experience preferred but not required (aptitude to learn and or be trained)
• Customer service oriented
• Outgoing personality with strong verbal communication skills
• Consultative, high energy, & competitive

Compensation & Income Potential:

• Fixed salary (avg. salary will vary based on local market conditions)
• Incentive & bonus driven (3% incentive paid on gross profit with opportunity to earn 10% premium incentive)
