Project Delivery Specialist Ii - Scrum Master - Tsp

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

• Run agile scrum ceremonies for one or more native consumer mobile app scrum teams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospectives, fostering effective communication and collaboration within the team.
• Liaison between the development team and product owners to ensure that product backlogs are well-maintained and prioritized.
• Collect and analyze key performance metrics to provide visibility into team progress and to assist in decision-making.
• Contribute to the program's adherence to policy through appropriate and timely reporting, artifact creation, and successful project phase gate reviews.
• Know when to use different techniques appropriately: use cases/personas, requirements documents, storyboards/comps, user stories, story sizing, definition of done, scrum testing, unit testing, regression testing, UAT, and agile techniques quick facilitation of consensus.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to remove impediments and optimize overall delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement within the team by identifying areas for improvements thereby improving the Scrum velocity over time.
• Collaborate professionally and productively with a diverse group of business and IT partners and stakeholders.
  Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.
• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.

Our Digital Foundry & Operations works with the Customer & Marketing group to bring a flexible capability and fluid capacity model to the delivery of small technology projects and enhancements.
Qualifications
Required

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in project management.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in agile software development using techniques such as scrum ceremonies, user stories, use cases, personas, scrum testing, unit testing, and dev ops.
• Strong analytical skills and technical acumen. Ability to decompose high-level information into details on the one hand and abstract up from low-level information on the other hand.
• Ability to challenge assumptions intelligently and appropriately from business partners, and articulate consequences and impact of significant change requests or emerging risks.
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people, including executives, managers, end users, business customers, technical architects, developers, designers, PMO/program managers, and subject matter experts.
• Experience and competency with both agile and waterfall software development methodologies
• Experience with different project management, reporting, user story, defect management and testing tools such as Rally, Microsoft Project, MS Office, SharePoint, Visio, HP Quality Center, Jira, Box
• Understanding and knowledge of unique factors and challenges of developing mobile applications in relation to traditional applications and web sites
  Experience working for large organizations, large programs, and cross-organizational initiatives
  Experience working with PMO processes and reporting
  Must be able to work onsite in Pleasanton, CA.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred

• PMI PMP or PMI-ACP certification
  Agile SAFe certification or coursework
• Experience in healthcare or other regulated industry
• Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
• Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
• Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
• Excellent Written and Communication Skills
• Ability to deliver technical demonstrations

This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $114,000 to $190,000.
