Job Summary
Responsible for providing administrative support for projects including planning, tracking, and supporting.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Maintains and organizes project documentation and content on project management website.
- Solicits and analyzes project information from project managers on scope, schedule, cost, and resources.
- Develops status reports and presentations for project managers as requested.
- Coordinates the completion of milestones within critical projects.
- Identifies and presents project issues and risks related to the overall program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Nature and Scope
- Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
- Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.
Work Environment
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
- Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable
Education and Experience
- HS Diploma or GED, strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years’ industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Formal project management training and/or PMI Certification preferred.
- Fluent in Microsoft Excel.
