This position will provide an opportunity to develop and apply your technical and leadership skills with one of the nation’s leading healthcare providers that understand the importance of diversity and inclusion. During your time as a Project Coordinator Intern, you will be part of the solution. You will be helping implement solutions for our physicians and clinicians to improve patient care. We need individuals who have an interest in any of the following areas:
· Information Technology
· Project Management
· Leadership
Interns will work closely with their department and mentor for the duration of the internship. Our interns will be placed in areas that will provide them with meaningful projects. The intern will include enriching programs such as development trainings, social events, and a capstone project at the end of the program.
General Responsibilities
· Work with project manager to develop project plans, schedules, and to track work and status related to projects aimed at the delivery of IT products and services to HCA business units.
· Support project managers in the identification of risks and dependencies and help track critical deliverables.
· Monitors overall project progress and status and assist project manager in building status reports.
· Participate in project closure reviews and help document lessons learned. Assist in completing project closure documentation.
· Supports project managers with preparation for and conducting project related calls and communication.
· Lead one or more less complex projects under guidance of a project manager.
· Support the management of project portfolio and governance.
Qualifications
· Individuals who have received or are pursuing their training/certification/degree.
· Interest in technology and project management
· Interested in pursuing PMP or CAPM.
