We are looking for a part-time Project Coordinator to administer and organize all types of projects. In this role, you will work closely with our Project Managers and be responsible for monitoring project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures. This position could be a full-time Project Coordinator position, depending on experience level.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Filter project requests and present qualified leads to Engineering Project Managers
- Act as a liaison for subconsultants, partners, municipalities, and clients for the Engineering Project Managers
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions resulting from meetings.
- Assists with project tasks, supports through all phases of project, and ensures project deadlines are met.
- Providing administrative support utilizing our project management system to set up projects, track project status, billing, reporting, and assist with client receivables.
- Attend meetings when appropriate and take notes.
- Create and maintain project management calendar to meet each goal and objective.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals.
- Maintain government portals for uploading documents and billing.
- Complete recertifications for agencies (i.e., SWFWMD, FDEP, FDOT, etc.)
- Navigate business development opportunities for the department and company
Experience and Qualifications:
- Service-oriented team player who has a positive attitude and is flexible, responsive, proactive, and self-starter.
- Detailed-oriented, organized, works well towards timelines and goals, and able to maintain high quality of work.
- 3+ years of Coordinator or Administrative experience
- Architecture, Engineering, or a Construction background is a plus
- Excellent PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
